DO WANT!
Since, apparently, my mind appears so utterly hard to read that noone actually ever could be supposed to rumble me in regards to, say, what I'd really really dearly like to get for my birthday (or whatever other occasion, ymmv), I figured I'd create a list.
Odd, isn't it? And still, you may call me silly and superficial and whatnot, but I'm a huge fan of well-placed gifts and goodies! \o/

Cupcakes. I <3 cupcakes. All of them.
Of course, they look even better when spray-painted _golden_. Or well, at least the ones I'd make would...
If you're in or from the US: I love me some Peanut Butter Oreo cookies (yes, they _do_ exist)!
Oh, and case you're dropping by my house for a party: Any number of crates of Club-Mate, Premium Cola, Flora Power, Hirter Privat Pils or Goesser Radler will always be more than welcome (we also accept donations of Berliner, if worst comes to worse)!
Speaking of drinks, I've always enjoyed a nice little bottle of Russian Standard's Platinum. But I'm eager to get to know your favourite vodka too, of course.

In general, I _do_ like me books. Tech books, sci-fi books, comic books... you name it, I'll probably read it. An assortment of books - as well as DVDs - I'm missing atm can usually be found on this list.
Music. I love music! Whether it came from BeatPort, Zippyshare, a Russian vinyl pressing plant, or your own garage.
I also dig weird photography collections like Merkley???'s.
...and silk-screen printed art posters.
It'd be nice to take more pics with my Polaroid - but I constantly run out of film o.O
Being a heavy coffee and/or chai drinker, I have a faible for mugs... one variety our kitchen cabinet is still desparately lacking is one of these Canon 24-105mm photo lens mugs, much like this one here.
As much as I wished the China I inherited was Lavender Rose by Royal Albert (given the formidable Cryptonomicon-reference ;) - I'm actually pretty thankful, judging from an industrial designer's point of view, it's Johnson Brothers' Old Britain Castles, in blue. So case you'd like to get us some replacement tea cup saucers or the like, ping us.
The Gerber mil-spec RJ-45 tool named Cable Dawg is _so_ frikken cool - but a wee bit expensive for what it's worth, I recon.
If you have an original Xbox console catching dust in your house that you won't use for good any more, think of me before throwing it out. I'd love to finally get some practice on the topic of bunnie's 2003 intro to RE, 'Hacking the Xbox' (b/c reading alone didn't take me as far as putting my hands on the real thing, I recon).
Even if you deny to know me well, you might've figured out I'm pretty much into wearables like black nerd tees and jogging pants by now; the crucial part here being the fabric's snugliness. Therefore, I'm almost desparately looking for a pair of pin-striped joggers (which I'd likely want to wear at our wedding party, for example =). Any help much appreciated!
Besides that, I kinda really digged this hoodie (even more so, if it was black) - though I haven't got the slightest clue of where to go look for a stylish atrocity like that.
Maker love. Self made/designed goodies that fell outta the lazzz0r/RepRap/MakerBot/knitter at your hackerspace/makershed/garage. Practically anything with nixie tubes. Oh and funny exeCUTEables, as well as affectionate defacements.
I'd love some sort of a disco ball building kit (or in other words, a whole lotta these) - so I could make my own (rotating) Death Star disco ball!
Not quite stopping there yet in terms of cheesy tastelessness, I once had an eye on plush animal rugs like this or that one. Haven't managed to find a polar bear design so far tho!
Last and least: A Hello Kitty toilet rug. I KNOW, RIGHT?!? That's the one and only proper spot to show off your HK, umm... feelings :D
Y sure girl, dream on!
So, a set (2) of these CDJ-2000's would be REALLY nice, y'know? =)
And if you ever happen to stumble across a used-but-still-good (as in, cheap) Hag Capisco 8106 (200 mm gas spring) in black leather at your local flea market or online, gimme a call. My back might be eternally thankful for any hints.
